Free online dice roller
Need a quick and reliable dice roller? Our free online dice roller lets you roll between 1 and 5 virtual dice with smooth 3D animations. Whether you're playing Monopoly at home and lost the dice, running a tabletop RPG session remotely, or just need a fair random number generator, this tool has you covered — no downloads, no ads, no sign-up.
The dice roller supports up to 6 players with customizable names, automatic turn tracking, and a complete roll history so you never lose track of the game. Each roll uses a fair random algorithm giving every face an equal chance, just like real physical dice.
How it works
Every die calls Math.floor(Math.random() * 6) + 1, so each face from 1 to 6 has an exactly equal chance on every roll. The dice are independent — one die's result never influences another, and past rolls never change the odds. Behind the scenes, each die animates with a real CSS 3D transform that spins to the exact face it landed on, with later dice spinning a little longer for a natural staggered settle.
How to use it
- Pick your dice (1–5) and number of players (1–6), then name them if you like.
- Hit Start Rolling, then Roll Dice — or just press Space or Enter.
- Watch the total add up and the roll history fill in for every player.
- Pass the turn with Next Player, or Roll Again to re-roll the same hand.
