Birthday Compatibility
Two birthdates in, one numerology verdict out. Get your life-path compatibility percentage — and the breakdown behind it — in about ten seconds.
What this birthday compatibility calculator does
Enter two birthdates and the calculator returns a compatibility percentage plus a four-part breakdown — romance, trust, passion and communication. It is the kind of thing you pull up on a quiet evening, on a long-distance call, or at 1am when you and your partner are bored and curious about what the numbers say. It takes seconds, it is free, and it never asks you to sign up.
More than 187,000 birthday pairs have already gone through it. People use it as an icebreaker, a running joke, a way to compare scores with friends, or a soft nudge toward a real conversation about how they actually fit together. The percentage is the hook. The breakdown is where it gets interesting.
How the math works
It is not a random number generator dressed up with cake emoji. The calculator turns each birthdate into a numerology life path number, then matches the two numbers on a compatibility grid:
- Life path numbers — every digit of your birthdate is added up and reduced to a single digit (the master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept as-is).
- Compatibility grid — the two life path numbers are looked up on a fixed grid that scores how naturally those energies blend.
- Category split — that base score is fanned out into romance, trust, passion and communication using a small, repeatable variation.
Because every step is deterministic, the same two birthdays always return the same result. That is the point — it works as a fixed reference you can come back to, not a slot machine.
How to use it
- Enter both birthdays. Yours first, your partner's (or your crush's) second. Tap the date field to pick a year, month and day.
- Hit calculate. Watch the score count up and the four category bars fill in.
- Read the breakdown, then share it. The result screen has one-tap buttons for Telegram, WhatsApp, X and copy-link.
What your life path score means
Your percentage lands somewhere between 0 and 100. Here is how to read the bands without taking any of it too seriously:
- 90–100%Perfect birthday match. Rare, easy, scary-good harmony on paper. Enjoy it — and keep doing the work that earns it.
- 75–89%Excellent. A strong foundation where most lasting couples actually sit. Small differences keep it interesting.
- 60–74%Good. Solid footing with room to grow. A little understanding goes a long way here.
- 40–59%Moderate. Your life paths are wired differently — which can be friction or fuel. Common ground is the project.
- 0–39%Challenging. Opposites, fully. The best of these couples turn the gap into something neither could build alone.
The four categories
Romance is the emotional spark your birth energies create — affection and shared romantic ideals. Trust is how naturally your life paths rely on each other and feel safe. Passion is physical and intimate chemistry, the part that often deepens over time. Communication is how easily your numbers help you read and resolve each other — arguably the one that decides everything.
Is birthday compatibility accurate?
Honestly? It is built for fun and reflection. A birthdate cannot measure whether two people listen to each other, repair after a fight, or want the same future. Real compatibility comes from effort and time, not from a number on the calendar. Treat your score as a conversation starter, not a verdict — and if a low number stings, that feeling itself is worth talking about together.
That said, plenty of people find the category breakdown weirdly on the nose. If yours does, lean into it: pick the lowest bar and have an actual conversation about it tonight.
From a number to a real night in
A score is a starting line, not a finish. If you want to turn curiosity into actual connection, our couples games are built for exactly that — low pressure, high payoff, playable on a phone. Start a round of Truth or Dare for easy, open conversation, line up a year of date ideas with the intimacy calendar, or trade secret wishes in Tic-Tac-Wishes. Want the full lay of the land first? Our guide to the best sex games for couples ranks all ten.

Frequently asked questions
It reduces each birthdate to a numerology life path number, then matches the two numbers on a compatibility grid to produce an overall percentage plus a romance, trust, passion and communication breakdown. The math is deterministic, so the same two birthdays always return the same result — it works as a consistent reference point, not a random number generator.
Your life path number is the single digit you get by adding up all the digits of your birthdate and reducing them. For example, March 15, 1990 becomes 3+1+5+1+9+9+0 = 28, then 2+8 = 10, then 1+0 = 1. The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept as-is. In numerology, this number is said to reflect your core personality and life purpose.
It is built for fun and reflection, not forecasting. A birthdate cannot measure whether two people communicate well, repair after conflict, or want the same future. Treat your score and the four-category breakdown as a conversation starter, not a verdict on your relationship.
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. Your last result is cached in your own device's local storage so the share buttons work, and nothing is sent to or saved on our servers. Test as many birthday pairs as you like.
Yes. After you calculate, the result screen has share buttons for Telegram, WhatsApp and X, plus a copy-link button. The share text includes both birthdays and your score, so friends can see it and test their own match in one tap.

Reading your breakdown
Your overall score is a blend of two life path numbers; the four bars are where the story lives. A high Romance bar with a lower Communication bar is a very different relationship from the reverse. Find your lowest bar — that is usually the most useful place to point a real conversation tonight.
The score bands
- 90–100%Perfect birthday match. Effortless on paper. Keep nurturing it — easy is not the same as automatic.
- 75–89%Excellent. Strong foundation, minor friction that keeps things interesting. Where most lasting couples sit.
- 60–74%Good. Real potential. Lean into shared interests and talk openly about needs.
- 40–59%Moderate. Different life paths. Active listening turns differences into strengths.
- 0–39%Challenging. Opposites. Works with patience, empathy and a willingness to meet halfway.
What to do with it
- Compare notes. Show your partner. What rings true? What surprises you about your life path numbers?
- Celebrate the high bars. Those are your relationship's superpowers — name them out loud.
- Treat low bars as projects, not verdicts. They are the easiest thing to improve on purpose.
- Keep it playful. It is entertainment. The real score is how you treat each other on a Tuesday.
