How to Play

Sexopoly is an intimate Monopoly-style board game for two. Roll the dice, move your tokens, and complete tasks on the squares!
Players take turns rolling two dice. The sum determines how many squares forward your token moves.
Upon landing on a square, complete the task or action. Tasks become increasingly intimate as you progress around the board.
Playing on a desktop or tablet is more convenient.
The main thing is to have fun together! You decide when the game ends. Feel free to adapt the rules to your preferences.

Sexopoly Rules — How the Adult Monopoly Game Works

Sexopoly is a cooperative adult board game for two players. It keeps the classic Monopoly ritual — dice rolls, token movement, landing on squares — but replaces real-estate properties with intimate tasks and dares designed specifically for couples. Here are the full rules.

Setup (30 seconds)

  1. Both partners enter their names in the form above.
  2. Pick a starting balance between $400 and $2000. This is playful currency used only for in-game choices — it does not determine who wins.
  3. Press Start Game to open the digital board.
  4. Each player’s token spawns on the GO square.

Turn Order

  1. Player 1 rolls the two dice.
  2. Their token moves forward by the total rolled (2–12 squares).
  3. When the token lands on a square, read the task out loud and perform it together.
  4. Player 2 rolls and repeats.
  5. Continue around the board — each full lap increases the intensity.

The Board

The Sexopoly board is laid out in the classic Monopoly grid: 28 squares total, with four corners (GO, Jail, Free Parking, Go to Jail) and 24 themed “property” tiles grouped by color. Each color group escalates in intensity:

  • Early board (squares 1–8): flirty prompts, light contact, playful kissing.
  • Middle board (9–16): more physical tasks, clothing rules, soft strip elements.
  • Later board (17–24): deeper intimacy, escalating tasks.
  • Final stretch (25–28): the most intense squares, always with a skip option.

Chance and Community Chest Cards

Scattered around the board are Chance and Community Chest squares. Landing on one draws a random card — it might be a reward (a massage, a compliment, a slow kiss), a bonus challenge (blindfold task, swap clothing item, freeze-frame prompt), or a redirect (move forward 3 squares, go to a specific tile).

Dice Rules

  • Two standard six-sided dice. Total movement: 2–12 squares.
  • Rolling doubles earns one bonus turn (optional — skip it if you want a slower pace).
  • There is no “three doubles = jail” rule like classic Monopoly. Jail in Sexopoly is a themed pause square, not a penalty.

Winning

There is no traditional winner. Sexopoly is cooperative by design — both partners progress together through escalating intimacy levels. A typical game runs 30–90 minutes depending on how quickly you roll and how long you linger on each task. You can stop at any square and continue later; the game saves your progress.

The Pass Rule (Important)

Every single task has a skip button. Either partner can press it without explanation and the game moves on. About 10% of prompts won’t land for any given couple — that is by design and pressing pass is the correct, intended move.

Sexopoly vs Classic Monopoly

People often search for “sex monopoly” or “adult monopoly online” expecting a sexy reskin of the traditional board game. Sexopoly is exactly that — with some deliberate differences. Here is how the two compare:

  Classic Monopoly Sexopoly
FormatPhysical board + tokensBrowser-based, no download
Players2–8 playersExactly 2 (couples only)
SquaresReal-estate propertiesIntimate tasks and dares
WinningBankrupt the other playerCooperative — no loser
Duration60–180 minutes30–90 minutes

VibeCompetitive, long grindIntimate, playful, cooperative

The idea behind Sexopoly is exactly that familiarity. Most couples grew up playing Monopoly. The ritual of dice, movement, and surprise squares is already wired in. Sexopoly borrows that ritual — and replaces the part nobody really cared about (buying tiny plastic houses) with something actually fun for adults.

What Players Say About Sexopoly

“Love how the board has different zones that get more intense as you progress around it. The early squares are flirty and fun, middle ones get more physical, and the final stretch is just wow. Great pacing honestly — feels like the whole game is building to something.”
— gentle_hawk_47
“It’s literally Monopoly but every square is a dare or a challenge and I am HERE for it. Rolling the dice and not knowing what square you’ll land on adds this element of randomness that makes it so exciting. We played for 2 hours straight.”
— lucky_fern_95
“We used to have an actual board game version from a shop and this is honestly 10x better. The digital dice, the animated board, landing on surprise squares — it’s all so polished. Premium board has even crazier squares. Worth every penny.”
— rosy_thunder_60
“The board game format is genius because it doesn’t feel like you’re playing a couples app — it feels like game night that just happens to get progressively hotter. The special squares with bonus challenges are chef’s kiss.”
— spicy_meadow_31
“My wife is super competitive so she took this VERY seriously. Every time she landed on a challenge square she’d go all in just to ‘win.’ There’s no real winning but don’t tell her that. The dice mechanic keeps things unpredictable which is what makes it fun.”

Sexopoly FAQ

Is Sexopoly the same as regular Monopoly?

No. Sexopoly borrows the dice-and-board format from classic Monopoly but replaces the property-buying mechanic entirely. Instead of collecting rent, you land on squares with intimate tasks. It’s cooperative, for two players only, and runs 30–90 minutes instead of Monopoly’s famous multi-hour grind.

How long does a Sexopoly game take?

A full game typically runs 30–90 minutes. Quick games (one lap of the board, only a few rolls each) finish in about 30 minutes. Longer sessions that use the full intensity progression run 60–90 minutes. You can stop at any square and resume later — your progress is saved.

Can I play Sexopoly on my phone?

Yes, Sexopoly runs in any modern mobile browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). The board is optimized for both portrait and landscape orientations. For the best experience on a larger screen, a tablet or laptop is more comfortable — but a phone works fine.

Is Sexopoly free to play?

Yes. The core version of Sexopoly is free forever — no credit card required, no trial expiration. Premium unlocks additional theme packs with more intense prompts, exclusive Chance/Community Chest cards, and unique square variants. Premium is optional and cancellable anytime.

Is Sexopoly good for long-term couples?

Especially long-term couples. The board-game framing takes the pressure off — it feels like game night, not a relationship exercise. Long-term couples use Sexopoly to break routine, surface new ideas through the random square draws, and spend a full evening together without needing to come up with activities.

What if we land on a task we don’t like?

Every square has a skip button. Press it and the game moves on — no explanation required, no negotiation needed. About 10% of prompts don’t land for any given couple and the skip rule exists exactly for that. Agreeing on a “no-explain pass” before you start keeps the mood flowing.

Do we both need accounts?

No. One account is enough. Sexopoly is played on a single device — you pass the phone or tablet between you to take turns. Your progress, starting balance, and unlocked content are all tied to the single account.
